The Blakely's REstoration Story
Amanda and her children attended our very first interest meeting in February of 2022 while walking through an incredibly difficult season. Her husband, Travis, was in an inpatient recovery center at the time. When Travis returned home, he immediately plugged into the life of the church and became deeply involved serving as a family. Not long after his return, his addiction resurfaced, bringing another challenging season for their family. But this time he was surrounded by a supportive church family.
Restoration Church walked alongside the Blakely family as they faced this darkness together. Through prayer, community, and consistent support, Travis enrolled in a program called Men of Nehemiah-an organization supported by RC. After a difficult but transformative journey, he found complete and lasting freedom! Today, Travis has been addiction-free for two years! What a God! He now mentors and pours into other men and families who struggle with addiction and is using his Restoration story for the glory of God! Amanda is reaching women who are walking through what was her valley and is bringing healing through her story! This is one of many Restoration stories that reflect the heart of the church and what God is doing in our city!

Today, Travis and Amanda continue to serve faithfully and help others and are helping build the church. They were baptized this past November, celebrating a new beginning and a restored life in Christ.
